Mecsens technology sold to METTLER

 

Nirva is pleased to announce that on 01 November 2010 the Mettler-Toledo Process Analytics Division has acquired the Mecsens technology assets of Nirva Industries.

For Nirva Industries this transaction represents a recognition of its capability to identify key technologies and create value for clients and partners.

Today the Mettler Group, through it’s depth of expertise and infrastructure is ideally placed to capitalise on this technology and provide efficient client solutions.

 

For clients and partners:

ALL WARRANTIES regarding Mecsens products sold by NIRVA INDUSTRIES before the 01 November 2010 will remain the responsibility of Nirva Industries.

ALL supplies of CONSUMABLES for sensors sold before the 01 November 2010 will be serviced and managed by Nirva Industries.

For purposes of clarity, Nirva Industries will not take any further product orders nor produce any of the Mecsens product range.

Industry recognition in the BEVERAGE sector

Mecsens’ Package Analyzer, launched in 2008, is the first industrial strength Quality Assurance inspection unit for finished products such as bottle and cans in the beverage industry.
It has received the recognition as the « most accomplished and precise quality control for bottled products » for its package analyzer product, attributed by the Institute Weihenstephan, University of Munich, the leading reference university for the « brewing » industry .

Mecsens product receives HYGIENIC certification

Nirva is proud to announce that the Mecsens sensor product range has received the EHDEG01 hygienic certification from the reputable Weihenstephan Institute, University of Münich, adding critical security and quality control to the measuring process, whilst lowering maintenance costs and reducing risks, particularly in the food and beverage processes. This capability further extends the range of applicability of the Mecsens sensors.

Mecsens technology acquired by Nirva Industries

Nirva is proud to announce the acquisition of the Mecsens technology, a Swiss high tech industrial company based in Geneva.

Mecsens is a leading manufacturer of high performance MEASURING SYSTEMS for the determination of chemical substances in liquids and gases in critical industrial processes such as nuclear power stations, power & Steam, the semiconductor industry and the Food and Beverage market.

Over 100 prestigious client names are users of the Mecsens technologies.

The Mecsens sensors are an integral part of the industrial production chains and measure the levels of oxygen, CO2, in liquids and gases ensuring the SAFETY, QUALITY and CONTROL of the manufactured products.

Mecsens clients range from Taiwan nuclear power station, Formosa Plastic Group in Taiwan, The Semiconductor & CO, Samsung, Givaudan, Beck’s, Carlsberg, Kronenbourg, Coors, Guinness, and many more.
